They have farm fresh apples and pears from August/September all the way to spring- March/ April depending on how the apple season was. They grow them on this farm. Buy direct from your local Canadian farmer.
Not happy, Bought a half basket of Paula Red apples for $7. Half of my apples were tiny, miniature in size. They appear to be seconds. Will not go back.
Awesome farmer… gorgeous apples of multiple varieties. Asked about picking, and the farmer honesty responded that it became more of a hassle, so they stopped. Highly recommend visiting this place!! Fresh apples well into January
Very disappointed. Their web site said they were open on Thanksgiving Monday. Made the 20k drive to pick apples and guess what? Closed. What an unnecessary bummer.
I travelled one hour to the farm today, only to find a sign that says that the farm is closed for the season due to low crops and won’t be open until august! I wish that information was updated on the website. When I visited the website it says they are open !!! I guess they don’t bother updating their site so up to the potential customers to waste their time !!!
A smaller orchard area for pick-your-own which has a large selection of apple varieties (depending on the part of the growing season). Bags are 10 pounds and were $8, cash only (at time of writing). There is a pumpkin patch, small market/stall with fruit ready to go, and Applewood for sale. Free parking.
My wife and I have been helping with the Hamilton Out of the Cold Program at the Heritage Green Adventist CHurch where we provide takeout meals to those who are food insecure.
